The Magnolia Flag

“On January 26, 1861, A magnolia device on a white field was added to the ‘Bonnie Blue Flag’ to create a new flag for the independent state of Mississippi. When Mississippi joined the Confederacy on March 27, 1861, the newly-created ‘Magnolia Flag’ became the state flag.”

Don’t mean to be a bother. Not sure if my earlier note went thru. I have a photo of a Confederate reunion in Kosiousko that includes at least one member of the 13th. You may certainly have a copy, if you like.

No bother, at all, Billy. It did go through the first time and I responded there, but will also do it again here. Please send me a copy to scribbler at texasscribbler dot com. If you have to snail mail it, email me at the same address and I’ll send you an address for that.
