I’ve hunted all over for a photograph of the 13th regiment, in camp, on parade, etc., but so far found nothing. Maybe they were camera shy. Doubtful, considering their reputation for unbridled enthusiasm. Jess McLean’s book has a collection of photographs of individuals of the 13th, but not a group shot. If you have such a picture, I wish you’d email me a copy so I could post it. Meantime, I imagine they looked pretty much like these fellows of Co. B., the 9th Mississippi Infantry Regiment, in camp in the Florida Panhandle.
